Chief Executive Officer
Frank brings deep expertise in sustainable packaging and corporate leadership to his role as CEO of Compostable Solutions. Prior to founding the company, he served as Co-founder and COO of Smile Beverage Werks, where he helped pioneer environmentally friendly packaging alternatives. Frank also held roles as Safety and Sustainability Director at Signature Construction Group and is an active member of the Plant Based Products Council. He holds a B.A. in International Relations and Affairs from Florida State University.
Chief Financial Officer
Martin brings over three decades of financial leadership and risk management experience to his role as CFO of Compostable Solutions. He previously served as a Partner at both Ernst & Young’s Financial Services Office and Capco Capital Markets Consulting in New York. Martin also held senior leadership roles at Merrill Lynch, including Americas Head of Risk and Control for Global Markets. He holds a B.A. in Accounting from St. Peter’s University and is a Certified Public Accountant (State of NJ, inactive). He also holds Series 63 and 79 licenses.
Chief Strategy Officer
Michael leads strategic planning and growth initiatives at Compostable Solutions, drawing on deep experience advising Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining the team, he was a consultant in Bain & Company’s New York office, where he led strategy projects across multiple industries. Michael holds an A.B. in Economics, summa cum laude, from Princeton University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was recognized as a Palmer Scholar.
Head of Operations
Matthew brings over 20 years of industry experience to his role as Head of Operations at Compostable Solutions. He joined the team after a long and successful tenure at Pod Pack, where he served as Vice President of Sales and Innovation. A recognized leader in compostable packaging, Matthew has deep expertise in optimizing operations across the entire value chain—from material selection to filling and brewing the perfect compostable coffee pod.
Based in the Americas, Matthew leads operational execution and customer transitions, ensuring that clients experience a smooth and efficient shift to compostable products. His hands-on knowledge of equipment and materials, combined with trusted customer relationships, makes him an invaluable partner in driving sustainable innovation. Matthew holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from LSU.
